What is the APS Scholarship Scheme?
The APS Scholarship Scheme enables meritorious students from Nepal to study in select Army Public Schools across India in Classes VI to IX and Class XI, with full or partial financial support. This scholarship serves as a golden opportunity for young students to access high-quality education in structured and disciplined environments.

Eligibility Criteria
To apply for this scholarship, the student must:
- Have passed the previous academic class (No applications from currently appearing students are accepted).
- Have proficiency in English—a strong command of English is essential.
- Be medically fit as certified by a licensed practitioner.
- Meet the age requirement as of March 31st of the enrollment year:

Documents Required
Applicants must submit the following, along with the duly filled application form, to the Embassy of India, Kathmandu:
- Student’s biodata in English with a passport-size photo.
- Notary-attested photocopy of the birth certificate.
- Notary-attested final mark sheet of the last class passed.
- Original character certificate from the current school.
- A medical certificate by a registered doctor.
- Notary-attested photocopy of both parents’ citizenship certificates with English translation.
- English proficiency certificate from the student’s school.
- Original bank voucher (NRs. 400) deposited in Nepal SBI Bank Ltd., Embassy’s account number: 17725240200331.
How to Submit
Applications may be submitted personally, by post, or courier to the Embassy of India, Kathmandu, on or before the deadline specified in the call for applications.
Selection Process
Candidates who submit complete applications are shortlisted and invited for a written test and interview. Only those securing at least 50% marks in both phases are considered for the final selection.
