The 60th Anniversary Scholarship
For 2026/27 entry, the University of Bradford lists a 60th Anniversary Scholarship as a tuition fee discount for self-funded international students. The amount depends on your nationality. For Nepal, the listed amount is ยฃ3,200 per year, compared with ยฃ2,200 for students from many other countries.
Who Is Eligible?
- Self-funded international students: students funded by a government or sponsor are not covered.
- New students: including those progressing from the pre-masters program.
- Full-time, on-campus postgraduate taught courses: undergraduate and online courses are not included.
- Not on discounted partnership programs: these are excluded.
How the Scholarship Works
The university states that no separate application is needed. The discount is applied automatically when you enroll, so make sure you hold a confirmed offer for an eligible course.
A tuition discount reduces what you pay each year, but it does not replace your maintenance funds. For a UK Student visa you still need to show living costs: ยฃ1,171 per month outside London now, rising to ยฃ1,203 from November 30, 2026, for up to nine months.
Other Ways to Reduce Your Costs
- Other Bradford awards: the university lists additional scholarships for different groups.
- GREAT Scholarships: British Council scholarships exist for selected countries; check whether your country is eligible.
- Part-time work: up to 20 hours a week in term time under Student visa rules.
