The KIIT School of Rural Management (KSRM), Bhubaneswar was established on 20th November 2006 as a constituent of KIIT, Bhubaneswar. It offers 2 years MBA (Rural Management) program with triple benefits namely knowledge, experience, and career: the knowledge through courses in the Rural Management domain, experience through its field segments, and career through a placement program. So far, we have offered exciting careers to 462 students who passed out from KSRM.
In the last 10 years of its existence, KSRM has constantly worked to improve the rigor of its programs to offer a portfolio of triple benefits to students. Having grown vertically in terms of the quality of our program, we are now attempting to expand horizontally to cover all the geographies and streams of graduation within the country. The larger objective is to bring different perspectives and thoughts to Rural Management discipline and holistically develop Rural India to eliminate inequality of all kinds.
Having developed our own knowledge base in the Indian context with the untiring efforts of faculty and students we are sure of bringing new connections between our thoughts and ground reality. Research helps us to substantially revise our field segments and course content which have also been approved by high profile Board of Studies of KSRM with representation from institutes like IRMA, IIT Mumbai, MDI Gurgaon, and a leading NGO.
Therefore, we are ready to intensify our efforts and create connections with highly motivated potential students and increase our student strength by close to a hundred.
The KIIT has been categorized as an “A” Grade university by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India based on Tandon Committee Recommendations. The MBA (RM) program is approved by AICTE.

The MBA (RM) Programme is approved by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and graduates are eligible to enroll in fellow/doctoral programs in leading Institutes Deemed to be Universities.
To apply for Admission one needs to appear for KIITEE Management, KIITEE / CAT / XAT / CMAT / MAT, and other exam scores for appearing in Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI) at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai.
