Why Choose Canada for Higher Education?

1. Globally Recognized Education System
Canadian universities are consistently ranked among the top in the world. Institutions such as the University of Toronto, University of British Columbia, McGill University, and McMaster University offer exceptional academic standards, research opportunities, and a wide range of programs tailored to global industry demands.
2. Affordable Tuition and Living Costs
Compared to other popular study destinations like the USA, UK, or Australia, Canada offers a more affordable education without compromising on quality. Additionally, international students in Canada can work part-time during studies and full-time during breaks to manage their living expenses.
3. Post-Graduation Work Opportunities
With Canada’s Post-Graduation Work Permit Program (PGWPP), international students can gain valuable Canadian work experience for up to three years after completing their studies. This also opens the doors to permanent residency pathways such as the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
4. Safe, Diverse, and Inclusive Society
Canada is known for its multicultural environment, social tolerance, and strong sense of security. Nepali students often find it easy to adjust due to the warm, friendly communities and presence of established Nepali student associations.
5. Immigration Friendly Policies
Canada actively encourages international talent to stay and contribute to its economy. Immigration pathways like Express Entry, Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs), and Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) make it easier for students to become permanent residents after graduation.

UK Education Gaining Ground in Nepal – Here’s Why
In recent years, there has been a noticeable shift in the study-abroad preferences of Nepalese students. While Australia once dominated as the top choice, the UK has emerged as a leading destination for higher education. At Admizz Education, we’ve seen this transformation up close and want to highlight why thousands of Nepalese students are now heading to the UK for their academic journeys.
1. More Flexible UK Visa Policies
Compared to Australia’s tightened visa rules, especially around financial documentation, the UK offers a more straightforward student visa process. Students can demonstrate funding with a 28-day-old bank statement and access private education loans – a key factor for many Nepalese families.
2. Affordable Universities and Scholarships
With average tuition fees ranging from £11,500 to £13,500 per year, several UK universities provide great value for money. Many institutions also offer partial scholarships or fee discounts, making UK education more accessible.
Universities such as Coventry University, University of Sunderland, University of Roehampton, University of East London, BPP University, and Ulster University are increasingly popular among Nepalese students.
3. Local Partnerships and TNE Pathways
Many UK universities now collaborate with colleges in Nepal through transnational education (TNE) programs. Colleges like ISMT and Softwarica offer students a chance to begin studies in Nepal and complete them in the UK. This helps reduce costs and ease the transition abroad.
4. MOI Letters Accepted for English Waivers
A major relief for students is that many UK universities accept a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter in place of IELTS or other language exams. If your previous education was in English, that’s often enough, saving students both time and money.
5. Rising Demand and Trusted Agents
Nepalese students received UK study visas, and the number is rising. With most students applying through a trusted education agency, support services like Admizz Education ensure smoother admissions, faster CAS issuance, and peace of mind.
6. A Shift from Australia to the UK
Australia’s recent immigration clampdown has led many to reconsider their options. The UK’s welcoming policies, diverse student environment, and post-study work opportunities (PSW visa) are now more appealing than ever.
The UK is quickly becoming the go-to destination for Nepalese students seeking quality education, affordability, and career prospects. If you’re planning your next academic move, contact Admizz Education today – we’ll help you every step of the way.

How to Choose the Right Country for Your Higher Studies
Choosing the right country for your higher studies is a life-changing decision. Not only does it shape your academic future, but it also influences your lifestyle, financial stability, and career opportunities.
At Admizz Education, we help students from Nepal find their perfect study-abroad destination. In this blog, we’ll guide you through the key factors that can help you make the right choice.
1. Consider Your Career Goals
First of all, you should identify your long-term academic and career goals. Each country has its strengths in specific fields of study. For instance, Canada is known for its programs in IT and healthcare, whereas the UK is renowned for courses in finance and law.
Moreover, if you’re interested in engineering, the USA and Germany offer world-class programs. On the other hand, Australia excels in environmental sciences and nursing. Therefore, aligning your course with a country’s academic strength can enhance your prospects.
2. Evaluate Tuition Fees and Living Costs
Secondly, understanding your budget is crucial. While countries like India and France offer affordable education, others such as the USA and the UK might be more expensive. However, these countries often provide high returns on investment due to better job prospects.
In addition, several countries offer scholarships and part-time job opportunities, which help ease the financial burden. As a result, your total cost of education could become manageable with the right planning.
3. Understand Visa Rules and Post-Study Work Options
Besides cost, you should also look at visa policies. For example, Canada provides up to three years of post-study work permits. Similarly, the UK offers a two-year Graduate Route for international students.
Furthermore, countries like Australia and the USA offer work opportunities through temporary or optional training visas. Therefore, it is essential to research and compare each country’s post-study work options before deciding.
4. Assess Language and Cultural Compatibility
Additionally, you need to consider language and cultural factors. English-speaking countries such as the USA, UK, Canada, and Australia are more comfortable for Nepali students in terms of communication.
Moreover, countries like France and Germany offer programs in English, although learning the local language can be helpful. Adapting to a country’s culture and lifestyle can make your study experience more enriching.
5. Research University Rankings and Recognition
Equally important is choosing a university that holds global recognition. For example, institutions like the University of Toronto, Monash University, and King’s College London consistently rank among the best worldwide.
Furthermore, recognized universities usually have stronger alumni networks and better industry ties, which can be highly beneficial when looking for internships or jobs after graduation.
Why Choose Admizz Education?

UK Graduate Visa Shortened – What You Need to Know
The UK government has just released a major immigration white paper with significant changes for international students. These updates aim to reduce net migration and tighten visa rules. Here’s what you need to know if you’re planning to study in the UK or are already there.
Graduate Route Now Only 18 Months
One of the biggest changes is to the UK Graduate Route. Previously, international students could stay and work in the UK for 2 years after completing their degree. That period is now reduced to 18 months.
This visa still doesn’t require you to have a job offer right after graduation, but the government has hinted that more conditions could be added in the future to ensure graduates “work and contribute.”
Stricter Rules for UK Universities and Colleges
UK universities that sponsor international students must now meet tougher standards:
- At least 95% of international students must enroll in their courses
- At least 90% must complete their programs
A new Red-Amber-Green rating system will help the government track which institutions are meeting these compliance standards.
Agent Quality Framework Now Mandatory
Universities using education agents to recruit students must follow the Agent Quality Framework (AQF). This ensures agents are transparent and ethical in helping students apply to UK institutions.
New English Requirements for Student Dependants
International students’ adult dependents must now prove basic English skills (A1 level) when entering the UK. Over time, they must show improvement to A2 and B2 levels for visa extensions or permanent settlement.
Higher English Levels for Skilled Workers
If you’re planning to apply for a Skilled Worker Visa, the English level requirement has been increased from B1 to B2. This aligns with the UK’s focus on welcoming highly skilled professionals like doctors, engineers, and AI experts.
Short-Term English Courses Under Review
Short-term study visas for English learners (6–11 months) are being reviewed. Only accredited and well-monitored institutions will be allowed to sponsor such students.
Possible 6% Levy on International Student Fees
The UK government is also considering a 6% levy on tuition income from international students. This money would be reinvested in the UK education and skills sector. More details are expected in the Autumn 2025 budget.
Settlement Rules Tightened
No more automatic settlement after 5 years. Students or workers must now stay for 10 years or show a significant contribution to the UK economy and society to be eligible for permanent residency or citizenship.
What This Means for Future UK Students
If you’re planning to study abroad in the UK, you’ll still have great opportunities, but now with more focus on:
- High-quality education providers
- English proficiency
- Career goals after graduation
The UK is aiming to welcome highly skilled and motivated international students who want to study, work, and thrive in the country.
At Admizz Education, we stay updated on every immigration policy to guide you better. Whether you’re applying for a UK student visa, searching for top UK universities, or planning your career after graduation, we’re here to help!
